Flower by E-510

1/30 sec, f5.6, ISO 100, Aperture Priority

Another shot at the same flower but this time using Olympus E-510. f5.6 seems to give the right DoF rather than f11 I tried earlier on. The training continues..

Sky & Cloud

Level, Curve and Saturation are adjusted in Photoshop to reveal more clouds compared to the original shot, as well as making the hill dark to create a silhouette-like effect.

Ride & Love

1/40 sec, f3.5, ISO 80

Taken using PowerShot A530, the photo is then cropped for composition. No colour retouching.

Gaussian Blur, Noise, Channel Mixer, Levels and Saturation

Sky & Ray of Light

1/800 sec, f14, ISO 100, Saturation and Contrast

Still struggling with E-510 (DSLR is definitely different from point & shoot, gotta take some time to get familiar with it), I shot the sky just on the edge of the roof. Some enhance on contrast and saturation to reveal more clouds (they weren't visible much during photoshoot).

These were taken under Auto mode as I'm still exploring the new camera though. And Barney's cuddly!

Maybe a little bit of colour saturation and contrast adjustment can bring more life to the photos.

Fireworks

Shutter 1/6 sec, f/2.6, ISO 200

I was at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa last night watching Eye On Malaysia. During my preparation to setting up the tripod, suddenly there were fireworks, which is something I'm not prepared to shoot. So low and behold, some handheld shots were in action. I could only pray that at least some shots are usable (I think I have a steady hand), and those are the best after performing some cropping.

Stained Glass?

1/40 sec, f/2.6, ISO 80

Nope. It's a macro shot of a glass of ice tea.

Laptop

A friend of mine bought a new Toshiba laptop with Vista Home Basic on. I just took a chance to capture some details of it. Macro shot and Composition applied.

Miami

1/640 sec, f/2.6, ISO 80

No, it's in front of my office. Initially trying to play with silhouette but end up with a shot taken in beach, I don't know. I am kinda hooked up with CSI: Miami right now so ignore me.
